Entertainment Director
There are 3 skill levels a professional d.j. should have.
Storytelling Announcing Master of Ceremonies
Notice, "Being able to play music" was not one of them. That's because music, is just that, music. Anyone with a good taste for music and knowledge of music can certainly play music for 6 hours. There are so many D.J.'s that put their focus too much on the music. You've probably heard or read this before, "we've got all the right music to make your reception a success", or "we have 60,000 titles of music". 60,000 songs, that's alot, but at your reception they may play 60 songs. So what's the point of carrying 60,000. The music may be great at your reception but that won't matter if all you have been doing is directing your event. Do you really want to work on your wedding day? It's your wedding day. You shouldn't have to work or worry about if t he cake knife is at the cake table. What happens when everyone is ready for toasts to begin but there is no wine in the glasses to toast with?
How many wedding receptions have you been to where the D.J. hardly says a word during social and dinner hour? The guests are left in this dark cave wear they don't know what to expect. When is the bridal party arriving? When is dinner? Do I have enought time to run to the rest room before the Grand Entrance begins? These are all questions that will run through your guests minds if they don't have any direction from the master of ceremonies/D.J.
We are Entertainment Directors. We take care of the little things so you can focus on what is important, enjoying your event. We will spend 20 to 40 hours planning and preparing your event so it runs smoothly and is perfect for you and your guests.
